Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories / Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a lab professional for night shift to perform waived and non-waived testing with supervision. You will assist with regulatory compliance and may handle specimen collection, receipt, and processing in the lab.

Responsibilities include following established policies and procedures while meeting CLIA ’88 and JCAHO standards, participating in competency evaluations, and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Must exhibit skills in exceptional customer service, good performance review and passing on-site competency evaluation and /or assessment as defined by the department.

Responsibilities

• This position performs waived and non-waived tests as defined by CLIA ‘88 in an accurate and timely manner with supervision.
• Assists with department compliance with all pertinent laboratory accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements (e.g., CLIA ’88, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA).
• Personnel report to department supervisor.
• May be responsible for the collection, receipt, and processing of biological specimens into the laboratory.
• Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
