Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Coordinator Laboratory Section to manage the night shift laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing and timely reporting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a lab science field.
• HTL-ASCP Histotechnologist or MLS Medical Laboratory Scientist or CG-ASCP Cytogenetics Technologist or MT-AAB Medical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night shift laboratory operations, including high‑quality testing, QC, equipment maintenance, and specimen collection.
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities across all lab sections.
• Ensure STAT, routine tests, and critical value reporting meet turnaround times.
• Lead staff training and development; schedule staff (MLS/MLT/Lab Assistants/Phlebotomists).
• Act as liaison between lab staff, clinicians, department managers and health care entities.
