Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an On‑Site Service Engineer (3rd Shift) to join our Tampa, FL team. The role involves installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for complex laboratory automation systems in customer environments.

Travel responsibilities and a 3rd shift schedule are included to ensure service continuity. Qualified candidates will have extensive hands-on experience with automation, instruments, and diagnostic tools, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 7+ years in automation, instrumentation, or field service.
• Associate degree with 3+ years in automation/field service.
• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year in automation and 3+ years field service experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and service laboratory automation systems at customer sites.
• Perform FAT/SAT, qualification, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment and provide customer training as needed.
• Document service activity and communicate issues and resolutions to management.
