Job summary

Lufa Farms is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for the night shift to lead daily production in a fast‑paced environment. You will oversee juice, beverage, and prepared foods production while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will supervise teams, execute schedules, manage inventory and waste, and ensure strict adherence to HACCP and food safety requirements. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cooperation with other teams, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a production kitchen, food manufacturing, or beverage facility.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical production environment.
• Comfortable using Google Suite and similar software applications.
• Highly organized, caring, and hardworking, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Shares Lufa Farms’ vision and applies first‑principles thinking, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in their work.
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg and work in cold or refrigerated environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production of juices, beverages, and prepared foods.
• Execute production schedules to meet volume, quality, and flow‑through targets.
• Lead production activities including preparation, juicing, bottling, labelling, sanitation, and cleaning.
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, MAPAQ, and CFIA food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, labelling, and sanitation records.
• Train, coach, and support production staff on best practices and safety procedures.
• Monitor yields, waste, labour efficiency, and overall production performance.
• Oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and cleaning of production equipment.
• Collaborate with reception and distribution teams to ensure smooth and accurate workflow.
• Foster a strong culture of food safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
