Job summary

Sargento Foods in Wisconsin (Hilbert) seeks a hands-on production teammate responsible for ensuring materials and equipment readiness to meet orders on a 6pm–6am shift. You will read production orders, verify materials, operate equipment, and maintain GMP and safety standards.

You are punctual, able to work in a team or alone, learn quickly, and willing to obtain forklift certification. The role includes data entry for inventory, packaging, and quality checks, plus supporting sanitation and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to complete forklift certification upon hire.
• Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

Responsibilities

• Follows GMPs and safety regulations and uses proper PPE.
• Reads and understands production orders to verify product information.
• Ensures adequate raw materials and supplies are available and notifies shortages.
• Completes required paperwork and data entry for quality and production checks.
• Operates and maintains equipment and conveyors per production order specifications.
• Inspects and packs product to meet quality standards.
• Safely operates RF scanners and replaces batteries as needed.
• Assists in Sanitation, Prep, and Pack areas as required.
