Job summary

Sun Chemical, a member of the DIC Group, is a leading producer of packaging and graphic solutions, and inks. The Ink Inplant Tech I will support on-site customer locations in Menasha, WI on third shift, providing basic color matching and small-batch blending.

Under supervision, responsibilities include ink production, QC, and some press-side support. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience with color-match software, MS Office, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years industry experience preferred.
• Must have good interpersonal skills for a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to meet customer specifications.
• Provide press-side technical support, mainly color toning.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Identify basic rework opportunities from batch tickets.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Lift up to 50 lb. and move 500 lb. drums per procedures.
