America's Heartland Packing is seeking a responsible operator to oversee, operate, and maintain a complex industrial wastewater pretreatment system for processing byproducts. The role emphasizes monitoring equipment, sampling, testing, and accuracy in record-keeping within a facility that embraces safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring custodial attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
United States work eligibility without sponsorship.
Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience.
Prefer prior waste treatment environment experience.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor wastewater pretreatment plant equipment and adjust as needed.
Take periodic samples and perform tests to assess system conditions.
Maintain plant operations, pumps, filters, and records.
Read and record meter and gauge readings.
Keep operations logs, diaries, and chemical inventories up to date.
Report to facility management if an upset or exceedance occurs.
Perform ground maintenance and housekeeping as needed.
