Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of plant operations and wastewater experience preferred.
• Certification/licensing as Water/Wastewater Operator or ability to obtain within 12 months, as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and monitor operating conditions and gauges.
• Maintain chemical levels, adjust and disinfect water and liquids.
• Record data and readings daily on specified forms.
• Perform COD, TSS and other analyses; adjust based on results.
• Advise supervisor and implement changes as needed.
• Assist with maintenance and lubrication of wastewater equipment.
