Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician, 1st Shift in our Levittown, PA Presort Services facility. Your hourly pay rate is $29 with overtime potential and a Sunday-Thursday 6:45AM-3:15PM EST schedule.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues on industrial mail sorting equipment, including conveyors and PLC systems. Strong problem-solving and prior experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to automated equipment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial electromechanical production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdown or emergency situations.
• Utilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts inventory using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
