Job summary

Smurfit WestRock in Tulare, CA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep electrical and mechanical systems running in a fast-paced corrugated packaging facility. Safety, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving are core to this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years electro-mechanic experience or military equivalent.
• Proficiency with AC/DC drives, power distribution, relay logic.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and process flows.
• Must pass background check, drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, systems, wiring, and PLCs (AB, Siemens).
• Conduct preventive maintenance on belts, bearings, pumps, motors and more.
• Install, test, calibrate, and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read blueprints and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager.
