Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment reliable and production goals on track. The role requires strong knowledge of motors, drives, PLCs, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, with emphasis on safety and reading blueprints.

Ideal candidates will have corrugating/manufacturing experience, an associate degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance or related field, and readiness for 12-hour shifts in a 24/6 environment, including overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with corrugating and manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Associate's degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated advanced training or certification in maintenance mechanical/electrical industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize equipment reliability to meet production and quality goals.
• Read and understand wiring schematics, machine manuals, mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/6 environment and overtime/weekends as needed.
• Maintain excellent attendance reliability and strong problem-solving skills.
