Job summary

Closure Systems International is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the D Crew (nights) to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and infrastructure equipment. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and proactive problem solving in a plastics processing environment.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment fabrication, and collaboration with electricians on control systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and must pass pre-employment mechanical aptitude or CEW training within 1 year.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance or similar experience.
• Experience with plastics processing equipment advantageous.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and plant electrical systems.
• Familiar with NFPA 70e electrical safety standards.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair automation and control systems.
• Maintain and repair auxiliary infrastructure (compressed air, cooling water, vacuum, carton systems).
• Fabricate machine parts with shop tools (mill, drill, weld).
• Assist with installation projects and building infrastructure repairs.
• Document changes to equipment accurately.
• Train team members on maintenance practices and safety.
• Respond to equipment issues during D crew night shifts.
