Job summary
Pretium is seeking a maintenance expert for night shifts to keep molding and downstream equipment running at peak efficiency. You’ll diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and coach peers to elevate team capability.
Join a safety‑driven team, work on eBM/SBM blow molders, conveyors, and automated cells, and document all work in the CMMS while supporting installs and upgrades.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Expert troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical/controls, pneumatics, hydraulics.
- Hands-on with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation.
- Fluency in technical documentation: manuals, blueprints, schematics.
- Proficiency with machine shop and fabrication tools (mills, lathes, grinders, welding).
- CMMS familiarity and preventive maintenance scheduling experience.
Responsibilities
- Own preventive and corrective maintenance for molding and downstream equipment.
- Tackle complex, non-standard issues with creative thinking and advanced troubleshooting.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems using test gear.
- Coach and train fellow maintenance techs to elevate team capability.
- Document work in CMMS and keep equipment histories current.
- Assist with equipment installs, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Communicate clearly with maintenance peers and operations teams.
