Job summary

Prysmian Group in McKinney, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep production machinery and facility equipment running safely and efficiently. You will respond to breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and support startup/shutdown activities in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and write in English, and experience in industrial settings, with conveyors, motors, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and unplanned issues during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance during planned downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read manuals, diagrams, schematics and work orders.
• Maintain records of maintenance history and equipment performance.
