Job summary

Tekni-Plex, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform general maintenance on production equipment and plant facilities.

The role requires troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing moderate to complex equipment, with strong knowledge of production processes and safety practices. The position involves reading blueprints, understanding hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, and assisting in installation and setup of machinery.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years related experience in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical/electrical repair.
Vocational training or two-year degree/certification required.
Ability to read and follow safety rules and manufacturing process instructions.
Night shift only: 6:45pm-7:00am on rotating schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs moderate to complex equipment problems.
Reads blueprints and understands plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
Performs general facility maintenance and assists in installation and setup of production machinery.
Repairs facility equipment (HVAC, electrical/electronic, material handling) and reads schematics.
Follows plant safety and housekeeping guidelines and participates in safety programs.
