Job summary
Modine-Joplin is seeking a Maintenance/Electrician to maintain equipment and ensure safety and product quality in a manufacturing environment. The role requires electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, basic machining, and PLC knowledge; welding is a plus.
Strong communication, blueprint reading, and documenting changes are essential. The position operates on a 3rd shift in Joplin, with extended hours and potential travel to support the facility.
Qualifications
- Two years of experience in industrial maintenance and electricity in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule tasks with production supervisors to avoid interfering with production.
- Adhere to OSHA and NEC electrical codes.
- Understand basic machine-shop processes.
- Coordinate work with co-workers as needed.
- Communicate problems with supervision before impacting production.
- Assemble or fabricate projects as directed.
- Provide feedback to supervisor on equipment issues.
- Work extended and unscheduled hours as required to meet deadlines.
- Travel to other facilities as needed.
- Meet all essential functions of the job per ergonomic analysis.
- Support other departments as required.
