Job summary

Cooley Group in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for night shift to repair, maintain and upgrade electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting.

Applicants should have 5–7 years of experience, PLC knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. CMMS experience is required with exposure to plastics processing considered a plus. This is a full-time position with responsibilities across maintenance, repair and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing/operation environment.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with CMMS is preferred; plastic processing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and install mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance per CMMS guidance.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical circuits as needed.
• Follow ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 requirements.
• Interface with vendors for equipment troubleshooting.
• Read blueprints and perform work with limited supervision.
