Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit. This full-time role covers night shifts with a 12-hour schedule, no on-call requirements, and Day 1 benefits for eligible staff.

You will work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient care, support family-centered care, and participate in continuous improvement and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the state board.
• Refresher course if nursing practice has not occurred in over 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify care plans under limited supervision.
• Provide care as part of the interdisciplinary Care Team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with established standards and nursing process.
