Job summary

St Mary's Health Care System, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Part-time Staff RN for the Critical Care Unit in Athens, GA. The role leads nursing as a unit leader and may assume Charge Nurse responsibilities when assigned.

You will work in a collaborative, evidence-based environment across the ICU and Neuro ICU, delivering individualized patient care and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Georgia.
• Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience in preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, including developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan.
• Interprets and performs complex patient-care procedures specific to their expertise.
• RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and have accountability to function as a team to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
