Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a housekeeping/environmental services professional to support daily operations at Lowell General Hospital. The role focuses on ensuring a clean, safe environment, coordinating shift tasks, and assisting in bed tracking and department supervision.

The position requires a year of related experience, with preferred bilingual capabilities. Compensation includes a steady 3rd shift with guaranteed hours, benefits from day one, and opportunities for growth within Tufts

Qualifications

• One year of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three years hospital experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department daily tasks and supervise in the absence of the supervisor.
• Inspect rooms and coordinate floor care and shift lineup.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and proper infection control practices.
• Assist with inventory and supply management for department.
• Set up furniture and assist with events as needed.
• Maintain safety and conduct monthly QA inspections.
