Job summary

Tufts Medicine - Lowell General Hospital is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services team member to maintain clean, orderly patient areas and hospital facilities. The role focuses on housekeeping tasks, supply management, and safe cleaning practices across clinical and non‑clinical spaces.

Under close supervision, you will perform routine cleaning, sanitation, waste removal, and light maintenance duties, working with a team to support a high‑quality patient experience and infection-control

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written cleaning instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning cart and supplies, keep areas tidy and stocked.
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, clinics, and other areas.
• Transport linen and waste, operate cleaning equipment, and report equipment issues.
