Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to support Environmental Services, ensuring a clean and safe facility. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating daily tasks, and performing shift coverage during absences.

The position requires English communication, ability to multi-task, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Night shift with 40 hours weekly and potential for weekend coverage is offered.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience (minimum).
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years hospital experience.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs and coordinates housekeeping tasks and supervision in the absence of the supervisor.
• Inspects rooms, coordinates floor care, and ensures safe environment.
• Maintains inventory and reports equipment problems to supervisor.
• Follows infection control, chemical handling, and safety procedures.
