• Must communicate clearly and courteously with staff, patients and visitors.
• Ability to announce codes and emergencies over the system.
• Strong interpersonal skills for a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Relays calls using the hospital switchboard and paging systems.
• Provides information services to staff, visitors and patients.
• Maintains professional and courteous demeanor toward patients and colleagues.
• Manages safety and emergency communications during incidents.
• Responds to Code Blue, Code Red and other alerts with prompt communication.
• Logs information accurately in the required log books.
• Trains new switchboard operators as assigned by leadership.
