Qualifications

• Relays incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls using the telephone switchboard.
• Relays information over paging and beeper systems as needed.
• Maintains courteous and pleasant attitude with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Relays calls and information efficiently on a hospital switchboard.
• Responds to Codes and alarms and communicates accordingly.
• Trains new operators and maintains log books as required.
