Job summary

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health system is seeking a Night Security Officer to guard patients, staff and visitors at our Windsor, Vermont facilities. Your shift runs Wednesday through Sunday from 11pm to 7am, supporting emergency response and incident documentation.

Responsibilities include patrols, responding to incidents, preventing elopement or injury, assisting with de-escalation, and coordinating with local law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Two years of related security experience preferred.
• Direct security experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the facility and provide information and guidance to patients, visitors and staff.
• Respond to incidents and document activities.
• Assist with de-escalation and management of uncooperative or violent individuals.
• Provide patient watch and monitor safety to prevent elopement or injury.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement as needed during incidents.
• Conduct searches and assist with emergencies and code calls.
• Enforce company policies and assist with parking control and safety.
