Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Security, police and/or military experience preferred.
• Enrolled/degree in law enforcement or police science may substitute for experience.
• Valid Driver's License required; must be 18+ and eligible to drive per state law.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training due within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Identify, report and document safety hazards and irregularities as directed.
• Investigate incidents and cooperate with law enforcement as needed.
• Receive, store and safeguard patient valuables and deposits after hours.
• Maintain records of lost, found and stolen property of visitors, patients and staff.
• Manage disruptive or violent individuals and contact police when necessary.
