Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Driver's License required.
• IAHSS certification is recommended.
• Taser certification within 90 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols hospital campus and ensures safety and security.
• Responds to alarms and dispatched calls and takes appropriate action.
• Investigates hazards and reports to leadership.
• Checks doors/windows and maintains a daily security log.
• Escort individuals or valuables when needed to protect safety and property.
• Provide protection details and assist in emergencies as a first responder.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and security leadership as needed.
