AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a StaffFlex night shift (7 on/7 off). You will support dispensing, sterile compounding, and collaboration with nurses to ensure patient safety.

The role includes autonomy across core workflows and inventory management in a hospital setting. Qualified candidates have hospital pharmacy experience, a valid Pharmacy Technician registration, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) and active license.
• Ability to operate hospital systems and automation with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead/participate in audits and medication-use process improvements.
• Prepare reports and support regulatory inspections readiness.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and clinicians to ensure continuity of services.
• Dispenser and compound meds, including sterile preparations and hazardous drug handling.
• Manage inventory, including controlled substances and cold chain integrity.
