Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a StaffFlex contract on the night shift. The role supports compliance, compounding, inventory, and cross-team collaboration to ensure safe, efficient pharmacy services across all shifts.

The ideal candidate will have hospital pharmacy experience, a licensed technician credential, and strong communication. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within AdventHealth.

Qualifications

1+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience required.
Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) required.
Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.
Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital computer systems.

Responsibilities

Leads or participates in audits, documentation, and improvement initiatives.
Prepares reports and supports regulatory inspections and accreditation surveys.
Collaborates with pharmacy staff and clinicians to ensure continuity of care.
Mentors technicians and supports onboarding and competency validation.
Executes advanced technician duties across core workflows and automation.
Manages inventory, sterile compounding, and hazardous drug handling per USP standards.
