Job summary

Indiana University Health System is hiring a Full-Time Night Shift Material Handler for onsite operations at University Hospital. You will oversee the movement, receiving, and staging of materials, using the ERP system to document transactions and ensure accuracy.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2–4 years of related experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience required.
• Must be able to continuously lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, and up to 20 lbs from waist to overhead, with occasional 25 lb carries.
• Long periods of standing and walking (6+ hours daily)
• May require operation of manual and motorized material handling equipment.
• Safety training must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Weekend or non-standard shift availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate movement and management of materials within the facility, including requisitioning, receiving, inventory handling, and transportation of items.
• Ensure accurate and timely receipt, staging, and documentation of inbound materials using the ERP system.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in receiving and staging materials, resolve discrepancies, meet daily priorities.
• May utilize point-of-use systems where applicable.
• Transport items to designated areas and document transactions.
