Lemontree Healthcare is hiring an EVS Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team at Norwalk Community Hospital in Norwalk, CA. This full-time role ensures cleanliness, safety and infection control across patient rooms and public areas, with a night shift from 10:00pm to 6:30am.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfection, floor care, waste removal, inventory checks, PPE usage, and respectful patient interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and time management are essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Disinfection: Routine cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public areas per infection control standards.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Trash & Linen Removal: Empty trash, replace liners, transport waste, collect soiled linens.
• Inventory Maintenance: Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to EVS Supervisor.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow PPE protocols and maintain equipment.
• Patient Interaction: Provide friendly, respectful service while maintaining confidentiality.
• Quality Control: Report concerns to EVS Supervisor or Manager.
• Compliance: Adhere to healthcare facility policies and infection prevention protocols.
