ClearVista Behavioral Hospital in Lorain, OH seeks a Housekeeper / EVS Technician – Hospital (Night) to maintain patient rooms and common areas to infection-prevention standards. Pay is $14–$16 per hour with a 2pm–8:30pm schedule.

This full-time role supports safe discharges and coordination with care teams to keep the unit clean and safe. The position requires hospital EVS or commercial cleaning experience, ability to stand, bend and lift, and a strong emphasis on privacy and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, nursing stations, bathrooms, and common areas to infection-prevention standards.
• Perform terminal cleans and room turns between admissions; track tasks on rounding sheets.
• Handle biohazard waste and laundry per policy; replenish supplies.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
