Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver after-hours hospice care, including evenings and weekends. You will be the calm for patients and families, coordinating with the DPCS and other clinicians, while maintaining high standards of compassionate care and professional conduct.

Responsibilities include scheduling visits, coordinating with field staff, and documenting all interactions in the system. Travel within the Bristol Hospice service area is required.

Qualifications

• RN with hospice knowledge and licensure in good standing.
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and terminally ill patient needs.
• Flexible in work hours and comfortable with travel to patient homes.
• Able to use computer data entry and common office software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform after-hours and weekend visits and admissions as needed.
• Dispatch field nurses and coordinate care to patient residences.
• Document calls and outcomes in the clinical software system.
• Provide start-of-shift and end-of-shift reports per location workflow.
