Hospice of Hope, Inc. in Kentucky seeks a compassionate Hospice Aide to support terminally ill patients under RN supervision. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and comfort measures in a patient-centered environment.

This role requires completing a state-approved Nurse Aide course and certification, with at least one year of patient care experience. Weekend night shifts and on-site work at the Inpatient Care Center apply.

Formación

• State-approved Nurse Aide course completed, testing and registration required.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience in hospital, nursing home, or related facility preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and bathe patients.
• Assist with toileting and maintain hygiene.
• Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds.
• Serve meals and help patients eat.
• Observe and report health changes to the nurse.
• Maintain supplies and assist with room cleanliness.
• Lift and move patients using proper body mechanics and aids.
