A Hiring Company is seeking a Hospice Aide to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse in Seaman, Ohio. You will provide care to terminally ill patients, bathe and groom patients, assist with feeding, and help maintain clean rooms and bedding.

Qualifications

• Completion of State approved Nurse Aide course, testing, and registration required.
• At least one year experience in patient care in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and bathe patients.
• Assist in toileting and maintain hygiene, bedding.
• Turn, reposition, transfer between wheelchairs, seats and beds.
• Serve meals and help patients eat their food.
• Assist in cleaning and housekeeping of rooms and facility.
• Maintain par stock of supplies on hand.
• Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature.
• Observe and report health concerns or changes in condition to Registered Nurse.
• Work 12 hour shifts, day or night, Part time or PRN in Hospice Inpatient Care in Seaman, Ohio.
