Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join a DoD program, fully funded through 2028, supporting the Department of the Navy in Kansas City, MO. The role covers end-user desktop support for a large enterprise network and offers growth within the Intelligence Community.

Initially night shift; after a few months shifts may be opened per candidate preference. Must have an active Secret clearance and CompTIA Security+.

Qualifications

• Must have an Active Secret Clearance
• 1+ Years of IT experience
• Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher

Responsibilities

• Assist with IT support for devices/technologies including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile phones, and other network devices
• Help resolve connectivity, OS, Microsoft/Office, and Video Teleconference issues
• Work directly with employees and officials to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Execute operations in support of the Enterprise Service Desk
• Meet service goals by opening and closing tickets, executing scripts, and answering calls
