A leading construction services company in Butler, IN is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty off-road equipment. This role allows for career advancement into positions like Lead Man or Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems. The company offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and a 401(K). Night shifts are required, with a schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and knowledge of off-road heavy equipment.
• Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems is required.
• Valid driver’s license is needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty off-road equipment.
• Comply with all safety regulations and policies.
• Inspect machines to locate causes of malfunctions.
• Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Mechanical aptitude

Knowledge of off-road heavy equipment

Knowledge of diesel engines

Knowledge of hydraulics

Knowledge of electrical systems

Tier IV Emissions experience

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Good verbal and written communication skills
