Job summary

A family-run business in the construction sector is seeking a motivated Evening/Night Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Field Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines in the fleet. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of heavy duty experience and strong diagnostic skills. The position offers competitive hourly pay between $35-$45 based on experience and includes comprehensive benefits within 45 days of employment. Flexibility for evening shifts and Saturday work is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a heavy duty diesel mechanic, particularly with mixers.
• Proficient with Mack trucks and strong after treatment and engine rebuild experience.
• Ability to work an evening/night shift and at least 2 Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain diesel engines in a fleet of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all equipment.
• Disassemble and repair heavy truck and trailer components.
