Job summary

Bulk Equipment Corp. in Middletown, OH seeks an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered machinery used in steel mill and mobile equipment operations.

You will work day or night shifts, perform preventive maintenance, use Cat SIS and Cummins INSITE, and coordinate with site leadership. The position offers union healthcare, a strong pension, and consistent full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, powertrain, electrical systems.
• Experience with diagnostic software.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Own tools from 1/4 in to 1 in drive impact wrenches, sockets, and wrenches up to 2 in.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to service calls and complete work orders.
• Maintain fleet reliability for steel mill and mobile equipment.
• Use diagnostic software to track repairs.
• Communicate status and parts needs with site leadership.
• Other duties as required.
