Slate is seeking a Group Leader to oversee daily automotive assembly operations on the Crew B shift, guiding Team Leaders and Manufacturing staff toward on-time, quality production.

You will drive lean improvements, ensure safety and quality standards, and collaborate with planning, logistics, and engineering to optimize workflows. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in auto manufacturing with 2+ years in supervision are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Automotive OEM experience preferred.
• Experience with Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations to ensure timely, quality production of trim, chassis, or final line products.
• Collaborate with planning, logistics and engineering to optimize workflow and resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead and develop Team Leaders and Team Members; manage staffing and goals.
• Enforce safety standards, OSHA and environmental compliance; audit risks.
• Drive lean initiatives; lead 5S, Kaizen and waste reduction.
• Track KPIs (OEE, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency) and report to management.
