Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Group Leader for our Production Department. The role focuses on managing day-to-day production with a safety and quality mindset while developing a team of direct reports. You will report to the Production Manager and help meet daily KPIs and ensure timely product delivery.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing/engineering background, strong leadership, and experience in planning manpower and problems on the shop floor. Night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Proven leadership of production teams and problem-solving on the floor.
• Proficiency in data analytics and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production on the shop floor with safety and quality mindset.
• Develop and coach team members; lead hiring and onboarding.
• Meet KPIs and drive continuous improvements; visualize production status.
