Job summary

Montcare Bethesda in Bethesda, MD seeks a compassionate GNA for a night shift. You will provide direct patient care, assist with transfers, and monitor patient conditions while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care and participate in ongoing education.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and completion of a GNA program or related experience. EMR familiarity is preferred to support timely charting and care coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a GNA program or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and health care professionals.
• Ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed; familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with transferring and positioning patients.
• Monitor and report patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with practices and regulations.
