ThermTech - Heat Treating Specialists in Waukesha, WI seeks reliable team members for production and heat-treat operations. You will work on multiple production areas, inspect equipment, and support fellow workers to meet customer needs.

The role requires good English, basic computer skills, and willingness to learn. Competitive hourly pay with shift diff and weekend differential, plus strong benefits and on-site clinic options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or heat-treating is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences.
• Record start and end times to document completed operations.
• Adjust furnace controls per work instructions using gauges and charts.
• Test parts for hardness using appropriate equipment.
• Verify product quality and report nonconformities.
• Ensure proper organization and storage of tooling and equipment.
• Perform quality checks for hardness and critical dimensions.
• Enter part data into Bluestreak system.
• Note quality concerns via nonconformance reporting.
• Notify maintenance for equipment quality issues.
• Package parts per customer requirements.
• Instruct new workers on machine operation.
• Maintain furnace equipment as needed.
