Job summary

Wolfspeed in Marcy, NY is seeking a maintenance technician to perform corrective, preventative and predictive tasks on semiconductor tools to sustain equipment availability.

You will work Front End Nights, Sun-Tues (with every Sat alternate), 6pm-6:15am, supporting a 24/7 operation. The role requires an AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics, and at least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience. Wolfspeed offers competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks.
• Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs.
• As needed, modifies equipment to improve up-time or overall process performance.
