Job summary

Wolfspeed in Marcy, NY is seeking a maintenance technician to perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on semiconductor tools to improve uptime, reliability and maintainability. This Back End Nights shift runs 12-hour days (6pm–6:15am) on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and alternating Saturdays to support our 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities include electro-mechanical troubleshooting, disassembly and repair per manuals and schematics, using test equipment to verify health, and

Qualifications

• AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical semiconductor equipment to root cause failures.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment per manuals and blueprints.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks.
• Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs.
• As needed, modify equipment to improve up-time or overall process performance.
