Job summary

Wolfspeed, Inc. in Marcy, NY, is seeking an experienced technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor tools in support of a 24/7 operation.

You will work back-end night shifts (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternating Saturdays) from 6pm to 6:15am, ensuring high equipment availability and reliability. The role requires an AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent, plus minimum 3 years of equipment maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks.
• Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs.
• As needed, modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance.
