Job summary

Wolfspeed in Marcy, NY is seeking a maintenance technician to perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on semiconductor tooling. The role involves 12-hour Front End Days shifts (Sun-Tues, every other Wed; 6am-6:15pm) in a 24/7 operation to maximize equipment availability and reliability.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, disassembly/reassembly per manuals, diagnostics, and collaborating with process engineers to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks.
• Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations.
