Job summary

Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Akron, OH is seeking a dynamic Receptionist for the night shift. This full-time role requires alternate weekend work and hours from 11pm to 8am weekdays, and 7pm to 7am on weekends.

You will greet visitors, manage calls, maintain logs, and support nursing staff with care coordination. The ideal candidate has strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, plus experience in healthcare or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, patients, and families with a warm and welcoming demeanor.

• Manage and maintain accurate records, including daily logs, visitor information, and resident updates.
• Provide administrative support to the nursing staff and facility operations.
• Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure seamless communication and effective care coordination.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring every interaction is personalized and compassionate.
