Capitol Lakes in downtown Madison, WI is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first contact for residents, guests and visitors, supporting front desk operations.

This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and courteous service. Evening/night shift Fri and Sat 11:00 pm–7:00 am CST with benefits like PTO, retirement plan, and wellness perks.

You will answer calls, direct inquiries, assist with scheduling, coordinating transportation, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous reception, customer service or clerical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests and visitors and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Answer and route incoming calls to appropriate departments promptly.
• Provide information and assistance in person and over the phone.
• Support front desk tasks including mail distribution and clerical duties.
• Assist with scheduling transportation and appointments and communicate with teams.
• Monitor visitor access to maintain a safe environment.
