Freight Flex is seeking an After-Hours Operations Specialist to support our freight brokerage operations outside of standard business hours. You will monitor active shipments, communicate with carriers, and resolve issues in real time to keep freight moving smoothly.

The role requires 1–3+ years in freight brokerage or 3PL, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Weeknights and on-call availability are expected, with a focus on accuracy and professional customer

Formación

• 1–3+ years experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or 3PL operations preferred
• Strong understanding of carrier communication and management
• Excellent communication skills (phone, email, text)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and manage all active shipments during after-hours periods
• Track loads proactively and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Communicate with carriers to confirm status updates, delays, and issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems such as missed pickups/deliveries
• Provide timely updates to customers via email, phone, or TMS
• Escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary
• Update internal systems (TMS, CRM like HubSpot, etc.) with accurate load notes
• Ensure proper documentation and handoff to daytime operations team
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in all communications
